Jennifer Nicolosi, Director of Service Learning Programs for the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley was our speaker at our July 25, 2024 live/hybrid meeting. Jennifer gave an overview of the United Way's AmeriCorps Vista (Volunteers in Service to America) programs both nationally and locally. The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) is a U.S. federal government agency that engages more than five million Americans in service through national service initiatives like AmeriCorps which helps others and meets critical needs in the community in the areas of education, public safety, health care, and environmental protection.
