#19 - GRACIOUS ROTARIANS & SEASONAL GIFTING
The Healthy Rotarian – Gracious Rotarians & Seasonal Gifting
Most of us have too much “stuff”. The first half of our lives we accumulate the “stuff” and the second half of our lives we spend getting rid of the same “stuff”. So, as we go into the holiday season of gift giving consider these consumerable ideas:
diabetic, weight reducing or balanced meals delivered to the home (e.g. Blue Apron*, stack of specialty, good quality frozen dinners);
health promoting gift certificates for special personal services (e.g. day spa massage/ facial/manicure/hot shave services, yoga class, Weight Watcher*r fees);
gift certificate for services at clinical lab for bloodwork or health care services; e.g. St. Luke’s University Hospital & Health Care Network* or Lehigh Valley Health Care Network*);
healthy living magazine subscription (e.g. Clean Eating*);
fitness center membership; taxi or bus coupon books;
gift certificate for house cleaning services (e.g. Merry Maids*);
grocery bag of non-perishable items delivered by you particularly heavy items (e.g. cases of bottled water), etc.,
And don’t forget the big red or blue bow on top. The gift is truly in the thoughtful personalization of the item selected for the recipient. Happy Holidays!
