FEB 08, 2022 BETHLEHEM EMERGENCY SHELTER

Our second night volunteering at the Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering 2022 season is Tuesday February 8.  The shelter is operating in accordance with all CDC and health department regulations.  The shelter has implemented procedural changes to protect volunteers, staff, and guests.  There will be no mingling and very little contact with the guests.  There have been no reported cases of COVID all season.

As we did last year, Lynn Milet will be arranging for Voracious Deli to prepare dinner.  We will need volunteers to plate and serve dinner (no cooking), clean up (wash dishes), and prepare breakfast bags. 

In a change from last year, volunteers will also be needed for registration and shower attendants.

Volunteers are needed for the following time slots:

Registration (1 or 2 people) 4:45 - 8:00.

Warm, Plate and serve dinner (3-4 people) 4:30 - 7:30.

Clean-up kitchen and dining room and prepare bagged breakfasts for the following morning (3 people) 6:30 - 9:00.

Shower attendants (one male, one female) 5:15 - 9:15.

We will also be volunteering on 3/14.  Please let me know if you would be willing to help on those nights as well.
