The Rotary Club of York-East is celebrating 20 years of conducting medical missions in under-developed, needy countries around the world. Connie Spark has been the guiding force behind these projects through this time. Forty nine volunteers from several Rotary clubs, including York East, traveled to Malawi earlier this year to offer medical treatment, especially diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions. Our members viewed an informative, inspiring video of the team's work at our meeting on Oct 15.
