![]() The York School of Technology proudly showcased two outstanding students, Chloe Shearer and Jacob Baun, who were recognized as Students of the Month by the York East Rotary Club. The honor highlights their exceptional achievements and dedication to academics, extracurricular activities, and community service, with the possibility of earning a scholarship. Chloe Shearer, a senior, has distinguished herself as a member of the school's Distinguished Honor Roll. Beyond her academic achievements, she actively volunteers in her community and has set her sights on a future as an elementary school teacher, embodying a passion for learning and giving back. Jacob Baun, a junior, is excelling in the school's auto mechanics program. A regular Honor Roll student, Jacob also showcases his technical expertise by participating in a national engine-building competition, demonstrating a commitment to skill development and teamwork. During their presentation to the Rotary Club, Chloe and Jacob shared their educational journeys, aspirations, and the ways their experiences at York Tech have shaped their future goals. Their stories left a lasting impression on the audience, underscoring the value of supporting young talent in the community.
