Students of the Month for November 2018
On Tuesday, Nov. 13th, two students from York County School of Technology were present to talk to our members about their school and community acheivements. Senior Allison Breslin and her parents were present. Allison (left in the picture) is competing for a $1,500 York East Rotary Scholarship. She spoke about all of her plans to attend a college for a degree in Nursing and possibly advance to become a Physician.Junior Vashti Overmiller and her parents also attended. Vashti (pictured on the right) spoke about her interest in computer technology in the medical field. Vashti is competing for an opportunity to attend the RAYLA Conference in June. The Student of the Month Program continues through March under the leadership of Rotarian Bob Straw (pictured in center at left).
