Leg Up Farms Farmer's Market Visit

On 7/11/17, York East Rotarians had their weekly breakfast meeting off-site at Leg Up Farms Farmers Market in their Community Room.  Rotarians sampled many items made in house including the  sausage and coffee made with beans roasted within the last few days.

This Farmers Market  features foods that are all natural, made without added chemicals or artificial flavors, preservatives, colors or sugars.  Adults with special needs  often have special dietary needs which can be found in the very unique produce aisles of this market.  Locally grown (within 100 miles of this area)  fruits and vegetables  are featured.  Specialty items such as cotton candy grapes which have only a two week season were available this year.  The market is customer service oriented, and reacts to the customers and what they need.  Yorkers  who like value and quality won’t be disappointed.  The Market has been discovered by the more than 3000 customers a week that shop there.  The fun continues beyond walking down the aisles, with special events such as Leg Up Local day (offering the opportunity to meet the people who grow and make the food you eat) on July 16, 2017 or CBD Oil Demo with Charlotte’s Web (featuring the health benefits of hemp oil) July 28, 2017 or Bark’s 9th Annual Summer Festival (with vendors, raffles, and more to help needy pets I the area) July 29, 2017 and Gabriel Cosmetics Demo on August 17, 2017.  You’ll discover that something really healthy for you is lots of fun!
