About Us

Connecting for Good - Service Above Self

Purpose: Why We Exist?

Together we see a world where people unite and take action to create change in our community, across the globe, and in ourselves.

Pinnacle: Top of our Mountain

Of thousands of Rotary clubs in the world today, Harrisburg was number twenty three in all the world. It’s a legacy that our business and community leaders take seriously, gathering weekly to manifest the Rotarian ideals of friendship, fellowship, and service. As one of the world’s largest Rotary clubs, we can and do make big things happen - and you can help us achieve even more.

Our Core Business

A global network of neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Service Above Self: Our History, Our Future

Since 1911, the Rotary Club of Harrisburg has played an instrumental role in helping to develop the international organization and to meet the needs of deserving people in our community and elsewhere. For one, our Harrisburg Rotary Foundation has given over $1,000,000 away to people in need. We also led the way community by gathering weekly for luncheons with a selection of highly sought after local business leaders, politicians, non-profit executives. Above all else, Harrisburg #23 has always exemplified the ideals of community service. We volunteer regularly at the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and volunteer monthly at various non profits in the area.

Membership

We have consistently sought out leaders in a wide variety of business professions throughout the Harrisburg area. Today, we work proactively to make sure our membership represents the diversity of men and women in positions of leadership in the Harrisburg community.
