Our Club has joined with numerous individuals and organizations, led by the City of Harrisburg and the Harrisburg Parks Foundation, to restore a long-abandoned, 1929 greenhouse and the surrounding area in Reservoir Park.
The group seeks to provide an urban agriculture learning center that will provide plantings for City parks and streetscapes as well as fresh-grown nutrition for the community.
This year #RotaryClub23 designated a $5,000 donation to secure four Green Circle garden planters that provide ADA accessible raised garden beds.
Everyone involved in this project appreciates that the Greenhouse in Reservoir Park will soon become an oasis for many.
