Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse Accepts Honorary Membership

 

 

 

Harrisburg Mayor, Eric Papenfuse visits the Rotary Club of Harrisburg and is presented with an honorary membership to the club by President Andy Rebuck and Ted Reese.

Our speaker on Monday, November 5th was the Mayor of Harrisburg, Eric Papenfuse. Mayor Papenfuse acknowledged a few members of the club who have made positive impacts on the city and then gave the club updates on several projects of the city. Mayor Papenfuse was pleased to announce that the city's financial situation has greatly improved; transportation infrastructure issues are being addressed, and several parks and recreation projects are in the works. The mayor addressed questions from the club regarding housing projects, flood control, blight of private properties and gentrification. President Andy Rebuck then graciously presented Mayor Papenfuse with an honorary membership to the club.
