Board Meeting - July 18, 2017

With Angela’s valuable help, I am completing a draft of a strategic plan that I want to present to the Board members to get their input and suggestions. I would like to set up a Board meeting on Tuesday evening, July 18^th at my home to do this.

As is the case with many other Rotary clubs, we must look at how we can, not only sustain, but grow our own club over the next few years. Additional initiatives are necessary and I have developed specific suggestions for your consideration. It is important to understand that the plan that I will present is not only for my year as president but also for Angela’s year as president. That is why the two of us have been working together on this and we hope to set in place initiatives that can be built upon in third year that follows and beyond.

Our next breakfast is on July 21. I plan to incorporate any changes made during the Board meeting on the 18^th, and  present and discuss the final strategic plan at this breakfast meeting. Please note that I have invited the Larchmont Rotarian Club to join us for breakfast on July 21. Larchmont is one of the Rotary clubs facing the same challenges as we are. Lora has told them that we are finalizing a strategic plan and they are very interested in observing and understanding our approach.
