St. Mary Catholic Central Interact Officers Visit

Emily, McKenzi, Vinnie and Cara, officers in the Interact Club at SMCC, shared past projects as well as plans for the current year.  They have started a recycling project at SMCC. They participate in activities such as Salvation Army Bell Ringing, God Works Dinners, the Bed Race and parties for students at the ISD for community projects and collected school supplies and dental supplies for children in the Honduras for an international project.  There are sixty students showing interest in Interact at SMCC this year.  Don Lieto acknowledged all the service that the Interact students are providing and thanked them for their participation.  Mr. Ray Lauwers is Faculty Sponsor.  Susan Merhegan, Monroe Rotarian and District 6400 Assistant Governor, is the Club Interact Coordinator.
