The Monroe Rotary is sponsoring a fund raising drive to provide Monroe County foster children Christmas gifts this holiday season. This will be the second year of this program. Last year the program provided gifts to 50 children. For 2017, the goal is to provide gifts to 150 children! Amy Compau, chairperson of this year's event, states "that without the generosity of the individuals and businesses from Monroe County, many foster children would go without gifts this Christmas." Donations can be made in cash or individuals / businesses can shop and wrap gifts for these foster children. Cash/check donations can be sent to Monroe Rotary Club c/o Amy Compau PO Box 133 Monroe Michigan 48161. Gift lists can be obtained through Amy Compau by emailing her at amy.compau@trinity-health.org.
