Charter Members
In 1924, 20 years after the founding of Rotary in Chicago by Paul Harris, the Monroe Rotary club was offically chartered on May 5, 1924. The Monroe Club was sponsored by the Ann Arbor Rotary Club. Then District Governor Paul King of Detroit presented the charter to first Monroe Rotary President Archie W. Stitt. Charter officers and members were:
