Leamington Rotary Donates to ACCESS Nutrition Program
The ACCESS Nutrition Program is expanding its programming to include a Food Skills Kitchen, located adjacent to the ACCESS Community Garden at 23 Mill St. West in Kingsville.
The new onsite Food Skills Kitchen will allow an expansion of the Seed-to-Plate educational services currently offered by the Nutrition Program using produce and herbs directly from the garden.
The Rotary Club of Leamington toured the ACCESS Community Garden, the proposed kitchen space and listened to the program expansion plans.
The $1,000. Rotary contribution enabled the program to purchase two stoves for the new Food Skills Kitchen.
