Educational Bursary Recipients

Leamington Rotary President, Chuck Parsons, presented Rotary Educational Bursaries during a July meeting held at Colasanti's Tropical Gardens. Bursary Selection Committee Chair, Margaret Ingratta, introduced the Rotary Bursary ($1,000.00) recipients and invited each to speak to about their future goals and education plans.

Erin Reid (LDSS) shared that she had been accepted by the University of Waterloo into the Honours Health Sciences, Computer Sciences (Informatics) Specialization.

Julian Lukas shared he had been accepted by St. Clair College and will be pursuing a 3-year program in Computer Systems and Networking.

Andrew Dyck (UMEI) will attend the Outtatown program at theUniversity of Winnipeg. Following his graduation from that faculty, Andrew plans to pursue a biology themed degree at the University of Waterloo and expects to graduate in 2019.

We wish them much success with their educational aspirations.
