Grade 8 Recognition Program, January 23, 2014
Grade 8 Recognition Program, January 23, 2014

The first Grade 8 Recognition Program for 2014 was held at the club meeting of January 23rd recently and was a great meeting.  As usual, club member Mark Kennard ran a great program honoring several 8th graders from the schools in the city.  The students were thrilled to be honored (and glad to get a great meal away from the usual school lunch).  The parents were even more thrilled to see their son or daughter honored for their hard work in overcoming whatever obstacles that the school had identified.  Conversations with the teachers and school principals recently have revealed their enthusiasm for the program.

Six students were honored this week.  To see their names, and to view the new Grade 8 Recognition Program web site pages, please click on the following link:   SitePage/8th-grade-recognition-program
This link will bring you to the pages describing the program, student names, and some great quotes about the students from their teachers.  Also included, is a link to a photo album of the day.
