Members Joyce Elliott and Steve Upton presented the updated website to the members at our meeting of October 31, 2013. Using the projector to show members what the website is all about, Steve and Joyce reviewed how to log into the site, and what information is available to each member upon logging into the site. Discussions were held on the content of the front page with an emphasis on what a prospective member would be able to learn about our club. Additionally, it was discussed how a prospect could easily navigate from learning about the Lynn club, to learning about Rotary International and the projects of Rotarians around the world. Joyce talked about the log in process and all members are urged to contact her if they still need a log in name and password. She also reviewed some of the available reports which members can access, such as a club directory, and a club mailing list. Steve demonstrated the various options using the projector and internet access. Joyce also explained how our local website can also connect with the Rotary International website or the District 7930.
