On Thursday December 19th, a Sextuplet of String Players from the Lynn Public School system entertained the Rotary Club of Lynn at its weekly luncheon meeting at the Old Tyme restaurant.  The Sextuplets played some Christmas themed selections, as well as classical selections.  Five of the players were from Lynn Public High schools:  four from Lynn English and one from Lynn Classical.  They were led by Ms. Etleva Hima-Buli from the Music Department.  School Superintendent Dr. Patrick Tutwhiler and Assistant Debra Ruggiero were invited guests.  This has been an annual Rotary event for the past several years.

The Rotary Club of Lynn and the school systems, both public and private have a very close relationship: annually several scholarships are awarded to Lynn Seniors; every January we provide each public school third grade student a dictionary; and 4 to 5 times a year several eighth grade students are recognized for their success in overcoming various adversaries.
