Registration Instructions for Stop Hunger Now
A note from President Wendy with instructions on how to register to volunteer at the Stop Hunger Now event

I hope that you have managed to stay warm and healthy over the past few winter months. It is hard to believe that in a few short weeks we will come to the end of February and join together for our food packaging service project as we take a step to end world hunger.
Let me thank each and every one of you for working with the Lynn Rotary Club with your generous donations and/or volunteers to support the vision and mission of the the Stop Hunger Now Organization.
The event will be held on February 28th from 8:30-12 at St. Mary’s, located at 35 Tremont St in Lynn. Stop Hunger Now’s meal packaging program is a fun, hands-on international mission project where volunteers work in an assembly line to package high protein, vitamin rich meals. All the necessary arrangements have been made with the organization, so we are ready for the next step, which is to have all of our volunteers register.
Marc Vermouth, the NE Program Manager from Stop Hunger Now, has set up a registration website for us. It is a great tool for us to use for promoting the event and puts all of the event details in an easy format for our supporters and volunteers. I would like to ask you to have all of your club members who are going to join us that day register prior to the event at: http://events.stophungernow.org/Lynn
This registration process will help us keep track of how many volunteers we can expect that day and make the event check-in more organized and efficient on the day of the event. Also, on the day of the event, we suggest that volunteers dress casually and comfortably. Chairs will be available and provided for those who need to sit during the food packaging, or for those who need to take a break. We will have refreshments and water available for volunteers. It would be helpful that any volunteer who has a name badge wear it, otherwise a nametag will be provided at the event check-in.
