Notes from our Club Assembly

The Club held two assemblies recently to talk about two important issues to the club.  The first, and most important, issue is that of growing our membership.  After much discussion, it was decided that each member of the club should recruit at least one member during the coming year.  Additionally, it was decided that we would pursue two additional courses of action.  First, we would organize a winter after work networking type activity where the club could highlight our service activities during the year and hopefully to attract new members.  Secondly, we will attempt to have a networking activity with the Chamber at one of our regular club meetings, the timing of that to be determined.

 

The next item of discussion was a needed fundraiser to raise funds for our general service projects.  It was decided that we would hold a Comedy Night in the spring, with a goal of selling 150 tickets.  The club would not be holding a $100 raffle this year.
