Youth - Science and Engineering Challenge
Youth Service
Science and Engineering Challenge is a set of fun and competitive activities involving principles of science, engineering and technology to immediately engage students with a minimum of introduction and theory.
Each school provides a team of 24-32 year 10 students to participate in a one-day activity at a local university. Conducted by the University of Newcastle this project has proved very popular.
Invitations are sent to schools in March each year.
