Earth Day cleanup on Welton

On Earth Day 2012, as part of the 1st Annual Five Points Earth Week Festival, a group of Club members met at Coffee at the Point on Welton St. to assist other community members (including District 8 Councilman Albus Brooks) in cleanup efforts. Cleanup efforts included litter removal, weeding, and painting/graffiti removal. The sun was hot, the weather was beautiful, and the mobilized effort to make immediate, visible changes to our environment was extremely gratifying. We look forward to continuing efforts to make District 8 great!
