James Wynters officially submitted his application to the Whyte Avenue Rotary Club on Tuesday July 21, 2015. Membership has up to 2 weeks to review and either accept the application or file a concern with the executive. James's bio will follow.
I am a mortgage broker with Dominion Lending Centres. I have been in the Mortgage business for 3 years. Prior to that I worked in personal lines insurance with Dyck Insurance and Wawanesa.
I am an avid golfer and amateur stand-up comedian. I frequent the amateur nights at the comedy clubs and local pubs.
In addition, I serve on the Board of Directors for my condominium, Renaissance Place.
My Uncle has been a very active member of the Sunrise Rotary Club in Grande Prairie for many years. I am very impressed with the projects, events and fundraisers he has been involved with, particularly the "Highway to Mexico" project.
And I am very much looking forward to becoming a member of the Whyte Ave Rotary Club and contributing in a variety of ways. I'm sure that it's going to be very rewarding.
The fun, fearless and focused members of the Whyte Ave Rotary Club are always welcoming visitors, volunteers and community-minded citizens to meetings and events.
