Rotarians Step Up for Winter Wonderland

Boardwalk Ice On Whyte is nsow behind us for another year, and Whyte Avenue Rotarians came out in force to make sure the 2018 edition was a success.

Club members gave more than 70 volunteer hours to ensure that guests were safe and welcome at Edmonton's premiere winter festival.

Well done, and many thanks to everyone who braved the cold in the name of community spirit and supporting this unique arts event.

Fundraising Brainstorm

As we move into the last of the Rotary year, it's time to step up our fundraising efforts to ensure we reach our $20,000.00 goal.

The fundraising committee and a group of creative club members gathered on Tuesday evening for a fun and productive meeting, with several creative possibilities being tabled.

You can still add your ideas into the mix by contacting Fundraising Chair, Tamara Larson, to help us achieve our target.

Get In on the Action

There's no more exciting way to help in the fight against polio than cheering on our hometown hockey heroes.

Your $29 ticket gets you access to the pre-game mixer from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, plus great seats to see the Oil Kings take on the Swift Current Broncos at Roger's Place.

$11.00 from each ticket sold goes toward the End Polio Now campaign, with all funds raised matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Tickets are still available from Club President Kathy Strobl. Help make this our third consecutive record-breaking year by purchasing your tickets today.
