We had a very special meeting on Tuesday, March 8.

 

As a part of celebrating International Women's Day, we had the honor of inducting Vaishali Rampurkar Shukla to our FUN FEARLESS & FOCUSED Rotary club.

 

Her sponsor was her father and he is a Rotarian in India.

 

Both of her parents joined us via Skype for this special occasion.

 

 

On International Women's Day, this is a significant event.

 

In India, women are not a central part of Rotary. Her mother is quite involved in Rotary and is a part of the "Inner Wheel".

 

 

Vaishali's classification is Electrical Engineering Research.

This past weekend, the leadership team from our FUN FEARLESS & FOCUSED Rotary club attended District 5370 Spring learning.

 

There were many opportunities to learn about youth, vocational services, communications, our club's public image, foundation and so much more.

 

 

Thank you to Kathy Strobl, James Wynters, Kevin McLeod, Meltem den Heyer, Guiscela Perez Arellano, Marilyn Mucha, Idris Fashan, Roxann Vaos and Tim Onciul for taking time out of their busy schedule to take part and for having the second most number of registrations in the District.
