A motion was presented to the Whyte Avenue Rotary Club on the nomination of Maria Reyes for membership into the Rotary Club of Edmonton Whyte Avenue.
Tim Onciul has nominated her. Here is Maria's bio: .jpg) "I have over eight year of experience in program management and evaluation across multiple government institutions. Currently, I work with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in the Strategic Planning and Evaluation Division. I have enjoyed being part of Rotary because of the local community work and the opportunities for creating a personal network with people with similar interests." Prior to her participation in our Whyte Avenue club, Maria was a member of several other Rotary clubs including: - Rotary Club of Regina (2015–2017)
- Rotary Club of Kelowna Sunrise (2013–2014)
- Rotary Club of Halifax Harbourside (2012-2013)
- Oak Bay Rotary Club (2002)
In accordance with our club bylaws (see 3.2.5 below), please indicate within seven days (7), by return email to the Club Secretary, Lauren Emery, if you have any knowledge that Michael does not meet the Rotary Four-Way Test and you object to the admission of him as a new member, or if you require additional information regarding this candidate.
3.2.5 If the Board does not receive a written objection from a Member in Good Standing to the admission of the prospective Active Member, stating the reasons for such objection, within seven (7) days following the publication of information about the prospective Active Member pursuant to section 3.2.4, the prospective Active Member shall be considered to be elected to membership.
