Update on District 5370 Fort McMurray Fire Relief Fund

Rotarians have been very generous in this time of need. This fund will go to support the long term needs of the community.
Here is an update from our District Governor Tim Schilds:
"The support for Fort McMurray residents has been incredible! I have heard from District Governors right across Canada and in parts of the United States. All are involved in fundraising efforts and have raised some pretty incredible amounts of money. We know that a lot of money is being raised through ATB donations (see below) but we will not have an amount until June 21, 2016 when the money is transferred to the District 5370 Charitable Foundation. We will be sure to keep you informed. Last week we partnered with the Alberta Pork Producers Association to receive money from their big event “Porkapalooza” June 17-19, 2016. We will not know until later today exactly what our role will be but I understand that we will need help selling 50/50 tickets as well as telephone volunteers. Please let your members know to save the dates and I will follow up with final details once we have them.
