On October 25th, 50 Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors and Exchange Students mingled at the second annual Mix and Match event organized by Whyte Avenue Club and University of Alberta Rotaract Club.

This year, the event was sponsored by District 5370 who are looking to support both youth and mentorship.

The event aims to foster connections between Rotarians and youth in Rotary and is an opportunity for mentors from Whyte Avenue to connect with Mentees from UofA Rotaract.

Mentorship is a priority of the district, specifically for youth, but has long been an informal mechanism for building fellowship and friendships in Rotary.

Turnout from District Clubs was fantastic with 4 Rotaract and 6 Rotary clubs represented.

Attendees were invited to mix and match themselves with people from other clubs while enjoying the great food sponsored by the St. John`s Institute.

Whyte Avenue hopes this annual event will continue to build bridges with Rotary youth and between clubs.
