Rotary members had a fun filled afternoon learning how to compost in our own backyards from Master Composter Nicole Spring from Veg in Yeg. Veg in Yeg is a social enterprise based in Garneau, Edmonton who grows vegetables, herbs, and flowers for local consumption through "Pay What You Want" pricing.
Nicole also brought along her indoor worm composting bin to show members how to set up one for themselves. She also taught members how to take care of worms (they are like pets) and the recommended places to source them.
