Rotary and Edmonton Oil Kings

On Sunday, January 22, Rotary District 5370 partnered once again with the Edmonton Oil Kings to raise awareness and funds to eradicate Polio world wide. We are THIS CLOSE!

CONGRATULATIONS to our FUN FEARLESS & FOCUSED Rotary Club who sold 100 tickets for this game! $9 from each ticket goals towards Polio Plus and this helped us raise $900 towards our club annual Polio Plus goal. Because every $1 raised for Polio is matched 2:1 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as well as 2:1 by the Canadian Government, YOUR $1 actually becomes $5. That makes our $900 worth $3600 towards eradicating Polio world wide! THANK YOU!

Because our club sold the most tickets in the District, we have the privilege of being part of the Honor Guard at the Oil Kings game! We were on the ice for the ceremonial puck drop and anthem. So much fun!

Our District sold 584 tickets raising $5256 which means with matching funds, we are contributing $21, 024 towards ending Polio world wide.
