Big Thank You to our chairs and to their committee members for the great work they are putting towards the success of our club. In a nutshell, this is where we are at:
Community Service and New Gens: The call for applications to our scholarship for Vocational Mentorship and Educational Support and sponsorship for Rotary Leadership Camp RYPEN is out to our partnering organization serving the youth at risk in Edmonton. International Service - Stan
The third playground that our club has sponsored is being built in Belize this month. We need help with fundraising ideas and activities that will support this ongoing project.
Foundation committee - Marilyn
Our club Foundation goal of $2,000 is getting closer to being met. We are currently at $1,500+ and hope that any members that have not yet submitted a contribution of whatever amount they are able to, that they still can do so before the end of May. All contributions count towards the Paul Harris Fellow recognition.
Public Relations - Idris
The PR committee is hitting the ground running with our new fundraiser! Things were a little quiet, but now it's time to gear up media relations and take the promotion to new levels! Members are invited to join in, just email Idris directly theonlyidris@gmail.com
