Meeting Knifewear

Last week we attended a knife demonstration and talk at our local Knifewear shop on Whyte. Knifewear is a fast growing company in Canada and specializes in kitchen and butchering knives with all the accessories as well as branching into straight razors and cocktail gear at their next-door shop Kent of Inglewood. Their store manager Kristopher Armitage demonstrated their knife selection and uses and was kind enough to field our questions.

Afterward we tried some house specialties at Tavern on Whyte which is another community business to which a member won a donated gift certificate to at our Spring into Employment.
