On Tuesday, April 11, we had two of our members do their Who's Who for us.

What a great way for our members to get to know each other.

Ellie is an alumnus of our District 5370 Youth Exchange program. She came to us from Taiwan in 2012 2013 and was part of the Westlock Club. During her time there, she made many friends and close ties to her host family, the community of Westlock and our District. This year, she returned to Edmonton to study at the University of Alberta. She had the choice of Hawaii or Edmonton and she chose Edmonton as she wanted to once again be a part of her Rotary family.

Ellie is the first dual Rotaractor and Rotarian, not only in District 5370, but in our Zone! She is a member of the University of Alberta Rotaract Club as well as a member of our FUN FEARLESS & FOCUSED Rotary club. She has also joined the District Youth Exchange committee working closely with our ROTEX students and more.

Guiscela is also an alumus of the youth exchange program - just a different District! Originally from Mexico, Guiscela did her exchange in Germany. She then moved back to Europe after her exchange to work as a nanny before arriving here in Canada. Her two week vacation turned into her becoming a part of our community and our FUN FEARLESS & FOCUSED Rotary club.

We all talk about wearing our Rotary attire proudly. Here is a great reason why we should! Guiscela was at a salon where a member of our club was and wearing a Rotary pin. Guiscela asked about Rotary and soon
she became a member of the Whyte Avenue Rotary club. Let's wear our attire proudly and start a conversation about Rotary!

Guiscela too has joined the District Youth Exchange team and has taken on many important roles.

Thanks Ellie and Guiscela for sharing with us and being a part of our FUN FEARLESS & FOCUSED Rotary Club!
