We had a great Club Assembly, with the following reports being presented;

Fundraising

Our 1st Annual Compost Sale Fundraiser was a great success! Our Pre-Sale total came to 283 bags, with us selling over 430 bags on Saturday. You can’t beat the Fun Fearless and Focused! Hats off to Paige for her leadership on this first annual compost sale fundraiser of the RC of Edmonton Whyte Avenue.

Foundation
Our goal of $2000 in giving has been exceeded.  Our club members gave $1,185 to the Annual Fund and $1,283 to Polio Plus which yields a combined $2,468.
Thanks to all members for their contributions. Note that one does not need to be a Rotarian to contribute and give credit to our club.

Membership:  Goal 18 members.
Currently at 17 with 2 member applications in approval stage:  Tamara Larson, Betty Marsh
And another awaiting completion of application and submission. We have a healthy list of "Friends" that will continue to receive our bulletins and hopefully encourage to join.

New GenerationsHats off to RYPEN District chair Kelsey who made it possible this year again for RYPEN youth to strengthen their goal setting skills and network with other youth making positive changes in their lives.

Also, thanks to The Emmanuel Foundation and the good friend of our club Rotarian John Vrolijk, our club's RYPEN candidate Destiny was donated a sewing machine. A step up for our young lady to help her further her passion for clothing design and seamstress!
