Several District 5370 Rotary clubs, including the Whyte Avenue Rotary Club, and individual Rotary members contributed to raise the $10,000 USD required to fund a Global Grant Scholarship for Anna-Marie Robertson. Global Grant Scholarships fund graduate-level coursework or research for one to four academic years and Anna-Marie will be using this scholarship to support her studies at Georgetown University where she will be studying international law. Global grant scholars plan to pursue a career in one of Rotary's area of focus and Anna-Marie's studies align with the peace and conflict prevention/resolution area of focus.
