This week we had Dan Rude, Chief Executive Officer of the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA), as our guest speaker. AUMA was established in 1905 to represent Alberta’s urban municipalities, including cities, towns, villages, summer villages, and specialized municipalities. Dan talked about how the AUMA supports and advocates for Alberta municipalities to help build more vibrant communities. This multi-faceted organization does so many things and we all learned a lot.
