The Eastern Colorado Health Care System for Veterans Affairs has reached out and asked the Colorado Elks to partner with them to recognize our Vietnam Veterans on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
The Colorado Elks are a Proud Partner of the DOD Vietnam War Commemoration Program: https://www.vietnamwar50th.com/ and we will provide your group with the supplies for free.
The VA has facilities across the state and in some cases, they fall under different jurisdictions other than the ECHCS and we have been assured that we be provided with the appopriate POC for your regions and get you connected if you would like to help sponsor an event at your closest VA Facility. So far, we have commitments for the RMRVAMC in Aurora, Clinics (CBOC) on Golden and Colorado Springs and the VA Hospital in Grand Junction. Please contact us if your Lodge has an interest on sponsoring a similar event.
