SCHOLARSHIP ACTIVITIES

Last week, I reported that we had six Rotary members assist with the evaluation of the written applications and that we had narrowed our selection down to three students at each school.  Doug Heim, Rita Kleeman and I conducted the scholarship interviews that morning (at Elkhorn High and Elkhorn South). The DC West student interviews were also conducted (by Jim Tomanek and Dr. Paul Dritley).

 

On Thursday, I will provide an update and announce our scholarship winners at each of the three schools.  The students and their guidance counselors have already been notified of our selections and I have forwarded the names to the Elkhorn Foundation. 

 

Our scholarship recognition breakfast will be held on April 14^th.  Scholarship recipients, parents and school administrators (Principals and Guidance Counselors) have been invited to attend.
