From our Rotary District Governor Rod Bates: The Rotary Leadership Institute didn’t exist when I joined Rotary. Before I started my year as District Governor, I felt compelled to attend all three sessions for fear that those who had already graduated would know more about Rotary than their District Governor! RLI is a wonderful overview of Rotary. It helps you understand and appreciate the power and reach of this magnificent organization dedicated to promoting world understanding and peace. You will come away with an appreciation for our history and an understanding of where Rotary is currently heading. I would highly recommend it to any Rotarian. It is great for newcomers to become acquainted with the purpose and structure of Rotary and it will help veteran Rotarians catch up on many of the more recent changes.
