- The meeting opened with an invocation by Rex Moats, Esq. Rex also led us in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
- Secretary reported $5,944.59, same as last week.
- Note from last week, Dave Rosacker won the kitty, and announced today that he was donating his winnings towards Rotary's Paul Harris Fellowship Fund. Guess who won today's drawing? Dave Rosacker, of course drawing a white ball.
- Secretary Ron reported on his make-up attendance at the Suburban Rotary Club last Thursday. Ron reported the club has 230 members, charge $8 for "coffee only". They sing at their meeting accompanied by a piano player. They have numerous old, old members in attendance.
- Jim reported the Lunch Bunch will be meeting at the usual place, Shevy's on noon the 11th with a Chiropractor speaking to us.
- Our speaker of the day was Frank Axiotes of Security Equipment, Inc (SEI). Jim is an Elkhorn Resident, has a son at Elkhorn South High School and is a member of the Western Douglas County Chamber of Commerce. Jim talked about all their services including the following: Intrusion, Fire, Water, Combutible Gas, Temperature and Carbon Monoxide Monitoring from their Customer Care Center. Video Surveillance and Medical Alert and Home automation is also available.
