  • President Mike inquired about interest in the Club having a Christmas Party this year.
  • Jim reported on the COPE raffle and announced the upcoming Bell Ringing for Salvation Army.

  • Tod Ringenberg report that County Commissioner Mary Ann Borgeson will be our October 19th Speaker.

  • Mark Gleason, member in good standing, was our speaker for the day.  Mark brought along a gas furnace unit for demonstration and told about the various steps in operation and maintenance of the unit.  Such steps included filter and humidifier pad changes and positioning.  He cautioned us about starting our motor vehicles in the garage with the garage door closed and the danger of carbon monoxide left in the garage after the vehicle leaves and the garage is reclosed.  Mark answered numerous questions about furnace operation and maintenance, including positioning the carbon monoxide detector in the bed room.  (Photo of Mark below with one admirer)
