Imagine Inclusion
Mar 21, 2019
Meaghan Fitzgerald Walls is the President and CEO of Assistology, LLC, in Omaha, Nebraska. She founded Assistology to address an unmet need in the Midwest to provide Assistive Technology (AT), Rehab Engineering and Universal Design consultation services to help individuals reach their goals and help businesses increase their ability to create inclusive spaces, services, products and practices.
Meaghan is a certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) who holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering with an emphasis on Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology from the University of Illinois-Chicago under a 2 year Rehab Technology Fellowship. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Chemistry from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana.
Recently, she also co-founded a non-profit organization, Imagine Inclusion, which has a mission to provide education, training and consultation that offers programs and supports projects that have a wide impact to benefit the members of our communities through increased awareness, and improved inclusiveness and accessibility opportunities.
With regard to the presentation. The reveal of the project is kind of the highlight, so I don't want to give it away. But you could say:
"Meaghan uses her expertise to support the Imagine Inclusion mission and is here to share the information about their current project which will have a significant community impact for West Omaha and surrounding communities. " |
