WAYNE PUBLIC LIBRARY WEBSITE SHOWN

On April 13, the regular club meeting was held at the Wayne Public Library where Lauren Lofgren, Library Director, showed us the library's new website. The new  web site features all the Wayne newspapers stored digitally.  Another popular program is a strong children's summer reading sessions sponsored by community people/organizations.  They also promote reading at Rainbow World. 60,000 items were checked out last year.  Friends of the Library ($10 per person or $15 per family) assist in many ways including the annual book sale--in total over 1000 hours per year in donated help by the Friends.  The library provides use of computers and free access for people with their own devices.
