WAYNE AREA LEGACY FUND EXPLAINED

Club member Jack Imdieke invited club member Eric Knutson and Bill Dickey to talk about the Wayne Area Legacy Fund at our regular meeting on June 7. The mission of the organization is "To inspire generosity, invest resources, identify the anticipated needs, and involve everyone in the betterment of the Wayne area."

The Chamber Coffee will be held at Arnie's Ford this Friday at 10 am to help explain the purpose of WALF. They are working to enhance the quality of life and build a better future by supporting and strengthening local nonprofit organizations, providing innovative ways for donors to benefit their community, identifying needs and making grants in our community, participating in partnerships with community groups, and providing funding for causes you care about.

They noted the Majestic Theater is one of the current projects. If you are able to drive a vehicle this Saturday morning, $20 is donated by Ford for each test drive. Vehicles will be located at the Wayne Fire Hall from 9 - 2.
