Gary Nelson, Planned Giving Manager, for the Nebraska Children's Home was the speaker at our regular club meeting on August 2. Gary was introduced by club member Tara Hassler who has a personal connection to the organization.
They have been in operation for 124 years and have over 24,000 names in their data base. Offices are located in Alliance, Beatrice, Grand Island, Kearney, Lincoln, Norfolk, North Platte, Omaha, and Scottsbluff.
Gary noted they provide safe loving and information on parenting, pregnancy, and adopting. They help with a Circle of Security - accepting people for what they do. Many of our members have a personal connection with adoption.
