Corby Schweers introduced Cale Giese at our meeting on April 5.  Cale told about his recent tour with the LEAD (Nebraska Agriculture Leadership Fellows) program.  Cale gave us some interesting information about his trip to China, Laos, and Thailand.  Cale noted the average farm size was an acre. They got to see a rice processing plant and a water buffalo dairy.

Taking communication difficulties in stride is part of what a LEAD fellow learns in the Far East.  Same story for Rotary Speakers which Cale ably demonstrated when the link between his laptop and the meeting room projector "failed to communicate!"
