Ellen Imdieke introduced Charissa Loftis, who is an advanced teacher of therapeutic yoga, at our club meeting on June 27.  A special thanks to club member Jack Imdieke and his committee for providing some great speakers this month.  Charissa noted she discovered yoga while attending graduate school and working at a desk job.  She noted it assists with neck, shoulder, and lower back aches that are common with desk jobs.  She has been active in yoga for 14 years and began teaching it in 2008.  She has gained about 2,000 hours of training.  In 2015 she earned the title RYT200. She offers group classes at 201 1/2 Main Street on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 and on Sundays from 6 - 7.  She also offers private sessions.  Group classes include warm up; work on postures, breathing, balance, etc.; and final relaxation. Moves can be modified, according to the needs and ability of the individual.  Charissa can be contacted at: charissa25@hotmail.com or 402-369-0422 for more information.
