YEAR-END CLUB RECOGNITIONS
June 30 ends the Rotary Year. Outgoing President Irene Fletcher presented several awards at our regular meeting.
Irene recognized Board members and officers, giving certificates of recognition. Some were unable to attend the meeting.

Certifications for attendance were awarded by Irene. 1/4 of our club attained 90% attendance and Bob scored perfect attendance during the past year. Says President Irene: "Is it because we have fun or because of our motto of service? I propose it is because we balance both of those with meaningful connections."

And we still had some fun!! Out-going President Irene was sung a very special song, written by Jack, and accompanied by daughter Kim.
And Irene presented the "Step U Award" to Dan & Kyle Rose for all their assistance with the club over the past year.
Ron McKeever, Assistant District Governor and member of the Norfolk Rotary Club, was a guest for Irene's party.
The meeting was ended by presenting a special "quilt" to Irene. Irene is noted for her sewing talents. Photos from her past year will be a great keepsake.
