Honorary Members Dan & Kyle Rose attended the Rotary International Convention held in Houston, TX June 4-9, 2022. This was their 6th International Convention.
This was the first year that recipients of the Service Above Self Award were honored at a special reception on Saturday night. They met fellow recipient Tom Randolph and his wife Evelyn from Baton Rouge, LA. Current International President Mehta spoke briefly at the event.
District Governor Carol Horner was one of the flag carriers at the opening ceremony. She said it was an honor to be asked.
It was very special to see the delegates representing Ukraine. They received many standing ovations throughout the week.
President Shekar Mehta gave many thanks to all who helped him have a successful year (shown below with his wife).
A huge welcome was given to Incoming President Jennifer Jones, the first female president of Rotary International!
She introduced her theme for the 2022-23 year--Imagine Rotary.
